Stuck on a word? Enter what you have already found and see which words from our list still fit. It works for Wordle-style word games with 4, 5, 6 or 7 letters. Use it sparingly: the fun of the game is working it out yourself.

How to use it

1. Pick the word length.
2. In the green boxes, type the letters that are already in the right spot.
3. Under “yellow letters”, type the letters that are in the word but in another spot.
4. Under “gray letters”, type the letters that are not in the word.
5. Check the list: the highlighted words are the most likely answers.

Frequently asked questions

Is this cheating?

That is up to you. The helper is a study and tie-breaking tool. For the daily challenge, try on your own first and use the list only to check ideas.

Where do the words come from?

From Termo's own lists, with common words of each language and no proper names. Words written without accents are matched too.

Does it work for other word games?

Yes, for games with similar rules. But every game has its own list, so a word may not be accepted everywhere.
