An Unlimited Wordle Alternative: What Termo Offers
Termo team · Roghan Games · October 22, 2026
If you like Wordle-style games, you already know the appeal: one secret word, six tries and color clues. The catch is that the classic daily puzzle is over quickly and only comes back tomorrow. Termo keeps the same idea and removes the cap: besides the daily challenge, you can play as many words as you like, right in your browser, with nothing to install.
What is the same
- The mechanic. You get 6 tries to find the word. Green means the right letter in the right spot, yellow means the right letter in another spot, and gray means the letter is not in the word.
- The daily challenge. Every day there is a new word, the same for everyone, which makes it easy to compare results with friends.
- The simplicity. Open it, play and close it in a few minutes, with no account and no full-screen ads in the middle of a game.
What is different
- Unlimited play. In endless mode, every round picks a fresh word. Finished one? Play another, with no waiting.
- Words of 4 to 7 letters. If the classic length feels too easy, 6 or 7 letters make a bigger challenge, and 4 letters is great for a quick round.
- Past days. Missed a day? The calendar lets you play the earlier challenges without touching your daily streak.
- Three languages. The game exists in English, Portuguese and Spanish, each with its own word list.
An example game
Say the secret word is CRANE. A first guess such as SLATE already gives useful information:
S
L
A
T
E
C
R
A
N
E
With two letters locked in and three ruled out, your next guess can test C, R and N in the remaining slots.
How to start in one minute
- Open Termo in your phone or computer browser. There is no sign-up.
- Pick the word length: 4, 5, 6 or 7 letters.
- Start with the daily challenge. When you finish, move on to endless mode to play more.
- If you like, come back tomorrow: your win streak is saved in your browser.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Termo the same as Wordle?
- The idea is the same, but Termo is an independent game made by Roghan Games, with no connection to Wordle or The New York Times. The words and lists are our own.
- Can I play without limits?
- Yes. Endless mode picks a new word whenever you want, and its statistics are kept apart from the daily challenge.
- Do I need an account or to install anything?
- No. The game runs in your browser and keeps your progress only on your device.
- Does it work in English, Portuguese and Spanish?
- Yes. There is a full version in each language, with common words and no proper names.
Want to try it now? Open endless mode and play a few rounds: in a few minutes you will feel the difference.
